Journey" Goddess Focus Alison Ginter joined Athena's in 2002. A mother and a wife, working a FT job Monday thru Friday...what drove her to sell "sex toys" at in-home parties?!? In the beginning...In 2001, Alison was invited to a home demonstration of "adult" products. She quickly shied away and declined. Besides, she just wasn't "the type" to attend one of those things! But, last minute, with her evening plans looking bleak, she phoned the hostess to see if she could still come...after all, at least it should be good for a laugh, right? She giggled, blushed, and went home with a brown paper bag...Well, she laughed alright! She giggled, she blushed, and she went home with a brown paper bag...stopping only to buy a pack of AA's! Wow! What other party plan boasts the ability to take your purchase home with you that night!?! And, she learned quite a few things that night! A lesson learned...She learned that you don't have to be a slut, whore, or a "dirty girl" to buy sensual products. In fact, these types of products keep us healthy! They enhance our sense of self, re-ignite the passion in our relationships, and get us through those times when we're not in a relationship! She learned that you don't have to step foot inside one of those "sex shops" to purchase these items; a well trained, educated Goddess will come to your home, entertain you and your friends, and allow you to make your purchase behind closed doors. And you don't have to be nervous around her, because she's the one who owns practically the entire catalog! So the journey began...She forgot about this party for some time, until it was time for her bachelorette party! Several of her friends brainstormed to come up with the perfect "girls night in," and when the words, "naughty nighty party" escaped one of their mouths, a light bulb radiantly glowed above Alison's head...an Athena's party! So, they booked a party and from there, her enthusiasm about Athena's grew.
